Our District Goals for 2017-18:
Open a minimum of 8 new clubs
Grow our membership by 10%
Additionally:
- Support our Foundations
- All clubs contribute to Ne-Ia Foundation ($5/member).
- All clubs contribute to the Kiwanis Children’s Fund, minimum of $6/member, or new $10/member level and become a TODAY CLUB member.
- Improve overall use of technology
- All Clubs have a web site
- Make use of social media—become a Face Book user
- More clubs convert from basic (free) portalbuzz to the enhanced versions.
- Eliminate Project
- All clubs continue to track with their Eliminate pledges
- Encourage clubs that haven’t contributed to Eliminate to contribute
- Further our District-wide 25 Alive program
- Support our District-wide service project to Alleviate Childhood Hunger
- Encourage clubs to take on a hunger service project
- Advocate for childhood food security, not insecurity
- I Plans/strategic plans
- Complete (and follow) each Club’s I Plan
- Learn how clubs’ plans tie into the District’s I Plan
- Service Leadership Programs
- Encourage current SLP’s
- Open a new SLP in your division
- KI Corporate Partners
- Take advantage of established partnerships
- Seek club-, division-, and district-level partnerships to leverage Kiwanis impact
- Leadership Succession Plan
- Develop a division succession plan
- Recruit future leaders
- Implement branding guidelines and further Public Relations efforts
