NE-IA Foundation Overview
Every Kiwanian in good standing in the Nebraska-Iowa District is a member of the District Foundation. The Foundation was chartered August 8, 1970 to support the education and training of Kiwanians and Kiwanis sponsored youth in order to further the community programs and projects undertaken by district members.

The Foundation Board of Directors is comprised of one Life Member of the Foundation from each division in the the district plus the elected officers. The officers of the Foundation are: the President, Vice-President, Secretary-Treasurer, and the Immediate Past President. One Life member respresenting each division, as well as directors at large and the elected.  The Nebraska-Iowa District Foundation obtains funds from:
  • Star Life Members who contribute an additional $100 up to $900.
  • Barlett Ladies and Fellows who make a total contribution to the Foundation of $1,000.
  • Clubs contributing $5 per member for the Foundation Birthday Fund.

Camp OK Funds come from:

  • Club sponsorships of campers for $300 each.
  • Camp OK Endowments from clubs or individuals for $3,000.

The Foundation Bylaws were amended at the Annual Meeting of all Foundation members held August 11th, 2006 in conjunction with the District Convention in Kearney. The bylaws can be seen or down loaded from this link.
